OnApril 28th, the 2nd in the se­ries of three card par­ties for the Stanstead County Hor­ti­cul­tural So­ci­ety was held in the din­ing Hall at the Fair Grounds. 500 was played at 9 ta­bles. Af­ter lots of fun, scores were tal­lied up with Mar­ion Cox win­ning Ladies High (5880) Karen Pat­ter­son claimed Ladies 2nd (5700). Gents High was won by Alan Bul­lock(5500) Gents 2nd went to Royce Wal­lace (5400).

Skunk prize went home with Jackie Gos­selin. 9 no trump was won by Karen Pat­ter­son. A prize for hav­ing 3-5’s in your hand be­fore their kitty was won by Bob Nish.

Door prizes went to Sara Roy, Ge­orge

Peasley, Linda Grenon, Bar­bara Wing, Andy Davis, Louise Peasley, Dini Antink, Meryl Nut­brown, Henry Duquette, Deb­bie Smith, Phyl­lis Dustin, Jackie Gos­selin, Tara Hamil­ton, Jean Martin, Bob Nish, Ghis­laine Viens, Clarence Rolle­ston, Alda Brus and Bud Wing.

Spe­cial prizes went to Es­ther Rolle­ston, Andy Davis, Mar­ion Cox, Karen Pat­ter­son, Betty Davis, Linda Grenon, Bob Nish, Greta Nish, Alan Bul­lock, Deb­bie Smith, Jack Kimp­ton, Henry Duquette and Louise Peasley.
