Youth Dance this Friday
Therevival of the popular teen dances of the 1990’s in Stanstead will have its debut this Friday evening with a dance at the former Beebe Town Hall just above the Caisse Populaire. “During the OECD meetings, our group was handling the Youth file. One thing that Chris Goodsell, who is helping organize the dance, mentioned was that when he was a teenager there were dances in town. So we decided to see if the kids would like that,” explained organizer Damon Cox.
The dance is open to teens form twelve to seventeen and DJ Smitty will provide the music. It will run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and there is a small admission fee of $2. Refreshments will be available.
