School per­se­ver­ance pro­gram now free

ThePro­gramme Con­cil­i­a­tion etudes-tra­vail be­gan two years ago to en­cour­age school per­se­ver­ance and the em­ploy­a­bil­ity of youth. To date, 60 em­ploy­ers who em­ploy more than 882 youth in the Mem­phrem­a­gog MRC dur­ing the school year have joined the pro­gram.

Now there is even more rea­son for em­ploy­ers to join the pro­gram. Em­ploy­ers will be pri­or­i­tized for the Des­jardins Je­unes au Tra­vail grant, train­ing and free con­fer­ences. Fur­ther­more, the fees to join the pro­gram or to re­new mem­ber­ship have been abol­ished!

The par­tic­i­pat­ing em­ploy­ers must take con­crete ac­tions and re­spect cer­tain cri­te­ria fa­vor­ing ed­u­ca­tional success. They will re­quire their em­ployee/stu­dents to work a max­i­mum of twenty hours a week with an adapted work sched­ule at ex­am­i­na­tion time.
