July activities at Haskell
Julywill be packed with activity at the Haskell Free Library in Derby Line. Funny man magician Tom Joyce will kick off the Summer Reading season with a free show for children and their caregivers in the library 11:00 a.m. Friday July 6th. Morning Library Camp for children going into Grades 1-6 begins Monday morning July 9th. This free weeklong activity will be full of a variety of activities to keep the youngsters busy and begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 12 noon. Space is limited so please pre-register. The Book Club Just for Fun meets to discuss Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream 6:30 p.m. Tuesday July 15th. Miss Nancy will take a break from Toddler Time on June 28th but will be back Thursday morning July 5th at 9:45 and will continue through the summer. Toddler Time is a short, informal story time especially suited for the youngest family
members with special emphasis on laying a solid foundation of pre-reading skills.
