A few questions were asked at the Borough of Lennoxville’s last council meeting, held on August 1st. Asked when the Borough’s drinking water would be connected to Sherbrooke’s water network, Borough president David Price said it should be completed before the 2013 Canada Games. Also asked was if there was a special plan for the return of the students. A planning meeting took place with Bishop’s University and the security firm Garda, recently hired by the City of Sherbrooke, to help coordinate the beginning of the school year. Also, the “Town and Gown” committee meetings will start up again on August 23rd.

Welcomed at the meeting was Sherbrooke City Councillor and candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party in the riding of St-francois, Nathalie Goguen. On behalf of the Borough Council, David Price wished her good luck in the next provincial election.
