Street Festival coming up
The Borough of Lennoxville is holding its third annual “Lennoxville Street Festival” on August 25th. Queen Street will be closed between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm to make room for a whole host of activities for the entire family. There will be a children’s playground set up, over one hundred artisans selling their wares, local retailers and vegetable kiosks, all gathered on Queen Street!
Performing on the Townshippers’ Association stage during the day will be the horns and strings of Mostly Swing, old time Western music by The
Country Swingers, alternative rock with Orange O’clock, swinging jazz with Louise Thibault and Jon Gearey and original folk rock by Amos Joanniddes. Jan Graham and Rockabilly Bill Dier and his grandson will perform between sets.
On the Centennial Theatre Stage will be performances by Les
Gigoloz, a barbershop quartet, Perry and Friends, La P’tite Veillee with their traditional Quebec music and True
Blue with the Blues.
