PQ local candidates hopes high

Stanstead Journal - - FRONT PAGE - Staff, Coaticook

With all polls showing that the PQ should form a majority government on September 5th, the party was able to easily fill the Round Barn in Coaticook, on Sunday, for a high end brunch attended by an overflow- ing crowd of supporters, a sight that the local péquistes had not seen in decades. It was attended by all candidates from the Townships, plus a busload of candidates who made the round of ridings in the PQ’s bus, vacated by their leader, Pauline Marois, practicing for the main debate that evening.
