Music, Musings, and Mangiare al Fresco at First Universalist Parish of Derby Line this Sunday
First Universalist Parish invites the community to attend a music-filled service and picnic to honor the coming of fall and the start of the new church year. The service will be a gala celebration with music galore from around the Kingdom, including an ensemble of the Newport Area Community Orchestra; Janice Gluck on piano and organ; and guest singers Anita Morin, April Streeter, and Molly Moore. Musings will be provided by Lay Minister Susan-Lynn Johns, who will reflect upon the feast of diversity that Unitarian Universalism provides for those hungry for answers. During the mangiare al fresco (the picnic following the service!) entertainment will be provided by Tod Pronto (unplugged) and members of the cast of QNEK’s The Fabulous 40s Revue. If you’ve ever wondered what the UUs are all about, now is a great chance to find out. Or you could just come for the wonderful music and food!
