Con­di­tions im­posed on lo­cal truckers

Af­ter be­ing eval­u­ated, two Og­den busi­nesses have had con­di­tions im­posed on them from the Com­mis­sion des trans­ports du Quebec. Re­gard­ing the Loi con­cer­nant les pro­pri­etaries, les ex­ploitants et les ve­hi­cles lourds, the Com­mis­sion, in the in­ter­est of pub­lic se­cu­rity, will im­pose the fol­low­ing con­di­tions on “Keven Roy” and “KR In­stal­la­tions”: four hours of train­ing of two em­ploy­ees on the Loi – vo­let ges­tion­naire; four hours of train­ing to two em­ploy­ees on the reg­u­la­tions con­cern­ing driv­ing hours and rest hours of driv­ers of heavy equip­ment; and the busi­ness must sub­mit to the Com­mis­sion, by Oc­to­ber 15, 2012, a cal­en­dar of pre­ven­tive me­chan­i­cal main­te­nance and an­nual me­chan­i­cal main­te­nance by a rep­re­sen­ta­tive of the SAAQ.

Be­tween Septem­ber 23, 2009, and Septem­ber 22nd, 2011, the Keven Roy en­ter­prise com­mit­ted sev­eral in­frac­tions: four in­frac­tions con­cern­ing jour­nal en­tries and the reg­u­la­tion on driv­ing and rest hours; two in­frac­tions re­lated to road signs; one in­frac­tion for not stop­ping at a weigh sta­tion and one in­frac­tion for not sav­ing an in­spec­tion re­port be­fore leav­ing in the ve­hi­cle.
