Acard­party was held in the St. James Church Hall on Au­gust 6th when 500 was played at 8 tables. Scores were added up with He­lena McComb win­ning ladies high. Ladies 2nd was won by Doris Davis. Gents high went to Har­ris Ols­son. Gents 2nd was won by Greta Nish, play­ing as agent. Skunk prize was claimed by Karen Pat­ter­son. A trick with the 5 of Di­a­monds was won by Jac­que­line Beaulac, 9 no trump went to Sue Nichols. Door prizes were taken home by Marie Sam­son, Alan Bul­lock, Glenda Huff, Jean Martin, Jac­que­line Beaulac, Pearl Good­sell, Mar­ion Cox, Jack Kimp­ton, Gail MacDon­ald, Mar­ion An­nes­ley, Meryl Nut­brown, Les­lie Bliss, Bea Juby, Beu­lah Turn­bull, Casey Vriensendrop, Barb Gos­selin, Duf­ferin An­nes­ley, Elvera Pat­ter­son, Karen Pat­ter­son and Andy Davis. Spe­cial prizes were claimed by Alan Bul­lock, Elvera Pat­ter­son, Jack Kimp­ton, Andy Davis, Les­lie Bliss, Beu­lah Turn­bull, Dy­lan Knight, Meryl Nut­brown and Taryn Otto-Smith. On be­half of the St. James’ Church we would like to thank you all for com­ing. To any­one who do­nated food or prizes. With­out you all it wouldn’t be a suc­cess.

passed away on Septem­ber 9th, 2012 and funeral ser­vices were held on Septem­ber 14th. The fam­ily of Ber­trand would like to thank ev­ery­one who pro­vided flow­ers and sup­port dur­ing this dif­fi­cult time. Your ex­pres­sions of kind­ness are gen­uinely ap­pre­ci­ated. We would also like to send a spe­cial thank you to the Pal­lia­tive Care Unit at the Ma­gog Hospi­tal. They were all ex­tremely kind and un­der­stand­ing. Fi­nally, we would like to send a heart­felt thank you to all the staff and vol­un­teers at the Manoir Stanstead. The Fau­teux fam­ily is truly amazed by the love and sup­port that all of you shown.

– Passed away on Satur­day, Septem­ber 8th, 2012, sur­rounded by fam­ily and friends. He was born March 12th, 1943 in Stanstead, Quebec and is pre­de­ceased by his mother He­len Car­bon­neau, fa­ther Car­roll Mosher, un­cles Lloyd and Grant Stan­dish and aunts Lilly Stra­ton and Mag­gie Pat­ter­son. He is sur­vived by his lov­ing wife of 47 years Rachel, his daugh­ter Shary, sonin-law Bill Cals­beck, daugh­ter Kelly, grand­son and best pal Tyler Sem­inchuk, sis­ter-in-law Patricia Galazzo, broth­erin-law John Galazzo, as well as cousins, nieces, and neph­ews. Also sur­vived by, as close as fam­ily, Dean, Mar­ion, and Abi­gail Gen­naro. Gary was a won­der­ful hus­band, fa­ther, papa, and friend to all who knew him. His sense of hu­mor will be deeply missed. His pass­ing will leave a deep void in the lives of all whom he touched. A memo­rial ser­vice was held on Satur­day, Septem­ber 15th, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the King­dom Hall of Je­ho­vah’s Wit­nesses, 5975 Sun­set Street, Burn­aby, BC.
