A truly Ver­mont af­fair, the Ver­mont In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val, founded by mem­bers of the anti-nu­clear move­ment and based for years mainly in Burling­ton, had a spe­cial

sec­tion at the Haskell over the week-end. It started with a cock­tail on Fri­day evening at­tended by the Cana­dian Con­sul in Bos­ton, Aaron Annable; Lynn Leimer, rep­re­sent­ing the Haskell; Orly Yadin, the Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor of the Ver­mont In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val and, rep­re­sent­ing the Quebec Gov­ern­ment of­fice in Bos­ton, Marc-An­toine Bé­dard.
