Limited places left in Magog Marathon

Registrationsfor the first edition of the Magog Marathon, which will be held on October 28th, have been coming in so fast that organizers have had to limit the number of participants. “I’m sorry that I have to do this. When I presented this project to the City of Magog, I expected about 500 participants for the first edition. I didn’t even dream about getting 1000 participants and, now, we have more than 1800!” explained Patrick Mahoney of

CourirEnEstrie. There are still limited spaces in the 1 km, the 5 km, the 21.1 km and the 42.2 km races while the popular 10 km race is completely full.

The Magog Marathon is a fundraiser for the Memphremagog Hospital Foundation. Since Halloween is just around the corner, both large and small runners are encouraged to run in costume! For more information call Mr. Mahoney at 819 640-2687 or visit the CourirEnEstrie website.
