Drug deal­ers beaten up

po­lice spokesper­son, Martin Car­rier, con­firmed yes­ter­day that Philip Dowling and Christo­pher Bullard, known in the re­gion, were ar­raigned Mon­day af­ter­noon on charges re­lat­ing to a drug-re­lated in­ci­dent that oc­curred on Pres­i­dent Kennedy Street, in Rock For­est, last Satur­day.

Three men broke into the house of a 44 year-old man, who was re­manded on his own at the same hear­ing, with the in­tent of steal­ing drugs and money. One of the sus­pects cut his hand while flee­ing the scene and the po­lice, fol­low­ing the blood stains, ar­rested him and the other ac­com­plice. Sher­brooke po­lice are still in­ves­ti­gat­ing the crime and more charges may be brought later, ac­cord­ing to Mr. Car­rier.
