Ribeiro, named one of Ra­dio-Canada’s 2012 Reve­la­tions, is guided by a lucky star! Born in Brazil, in a fam­ily of artists, he quickly gained ex­pe­ri­ence and per­fected his skills with big names in bossa nova and Brazil­ian mu­sic (Gil­berto Gil, Cae­tano Veloso, Chico Buar­que, Le­nine, Chico Ce­sar). In Canada since 2006, he re­cently re­leased his sec­ond al­bum (his first in Quebec) Ego­logico Re­cy­cle, a smooth mix of the artist’s many in­flu­ences: Brazil­ian mu­sic, reg­gae, funk, Afro-Brazil­ian rhythms.
