Flu shots going well
Closeto 1,800 people were vaccinated during the clinics held earlier this month in Magog, Stanstead and Mansonville. Following a revision of procedures, the vaccination team of the CSSS Memphremagog was proud to announce that all went smoothly. In Magog a record number of people were vaccinated, 678 between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, without any waiting after the ‘rush hour’ at the opening of the clinic.
The next and final vaccination clinics for the residents of the Memphremagog MRC will be held: Stanstead CLSC, November 20th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; Magog, November 17th and 18th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with free parking; Mansonville CLSC, November 22nd, 9:00 am to noon.
The vaccine is free for: children between 6 months and 23 months of age; pregnant women in either their 2nd or 3rd trimester; people suffering from chronic illness; people 60 years old or older; for people in the entourage of the previous categories and those who come into contact with a baby younger than six months; and health workers.
