Flu shots go­ing well

Clos­eto 1,800 peo­ple were vac­ci­nated dur­ing the clin­ics held ear­lier this month in Ma­gog, Stanstead and Man­sonville. Fol­low­ing a re­vi­sion of pro­ce­dures, the vac­ci­na­tion team of the CSSS Mem­phrem­a­gog was proud to an­nounce that all went smoothly. In Ma­gog a record num­ber of peo­ple were vac­ci­nated, 678 be­tween 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, with­out any wait­ing af­ter the ‘rush hour’ at the open­ing of the clinic.

The next and fi­nal vac­ci­na­tion clin­ics for the res­i­dents of the Mem­phrem­a­gog MRC will be held: Stanstead CLSC, Novem­ber 20th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; Ma­gog, Novem­ber 17th and 18th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with free park­ing; Man­sonville CLSC, Novem­ber 22nd, 9:00 am to noon.

The vac­cine is free for: chil­dren be­tween 6 months and 23 months of age; preg­nant women in ei­ther their 2nd or 3rd trimester; peo­ple suf­fer­ing from chronic ill­ness; peo­ple 60 years old or older; for peo­ple in the en­tourage of the pre­vi­ous cat­e­gories and those who come into contact with a baby younger than six months; and health work­ers.
