Classes are still en­rolling - but time is run­ning out!

Sin­ceits launch in Oc­to­ber, the range of free in­ven­tive cul­tural ac­tiv­i­ties of­fered through the OpART project has been gen­er­at­ing quite the buzz in Rich­mond. As the bilin­gual pop­u­lar arts project en­ters its last phase, time is run­ning out to reg­is­ter for the last two free classes.

For the as­pir­ing artist, or those who just want to dab­ble, OpART has aimed at in­tro­duc­ing 18-35 year olds in the re­gion to new forms of cre­ative ex­pres­sion through six cul­tural ac­tiv­i­ties. Un­der the di­rec­tion of pro­fes­sional artists, classes have in­cluded les­son on shap­ing the nat­u­ral land­scape to cre­ate Land Art, etch­ing fea­tured prints in Pho­tograv­ing and cre­at­ing an­i­mated shorts in Film An­i­ma­tion.
