Classes are still enrolling - but time is running out!
Sinceits launch in October, the range of free inventive cultural activities offered through the OpART project has been generating quite the buzz in Richmond. As the bilingual popular arts project enters its last phase, time is running out to register for the last two free classes.
For the aspiring artist, or those who just want to dabble, OpART has aimed at introducing 18-35 year olds in the region to new forms of creative expression through six cultural activities. Under the direction of professional artists, classes have included lesson on shaping the natural landscape to create Land Art, etching featured prints in Photograving and creating animated shorts in Film Animation.
