Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

Themunicipality of Eastman has kept its “4 flower” rating from Les Fleurons du Quebec, as announced on November 15th during the unveiling of the 2012 results in St-Hyacinthe. Eastman first received the four flower rating in 2009, the last time that municipalities were rated. Towns can rate between 0 and five flowers, depending on the level of horticultural beauty in open view, and they are re-evaluated every three years. Eastman is one of only five Townships municipalities with a four flower rating.

Representing Eastman during the unveiling ceremony were (l. to r.) Lucie Beliveau, Rejeanne Bergeron, Diane Tetreault, mayor Gerard Marinovich, SEVE president Danielle Routhier and Michel Frechette.
