PAIR con­test ends

In­Oc­to­ber, the PAIR Mem­phrem­a­gog Com­mit­tee launched a con­test to try and dou­ble the num­ber of peo­ple who use this free ser­vice. Each per­son who was presently us­ing the ser­vice was asked to try and get an­other per­son to sub­scribe to the free, au­to­mated phone ser­vice.

With the con­test, six­teen new peo­ple signed up to get au­to­matic phonecalls daily and three peo­ple, the win­ners of the con­test, re­ceived $50 gift cer­tifi­cates.

The PAIR pro­gram is an au­to­matic ser­vice that checks in with its sub­scribers daily to make sure that ev­ery­thing is all right. This free ser­vice is aimed pri­mar­ily at peo­ple 55 years or older who live alone or peo­ple with a med­i­cal con­di­tion that re­quires daily check­ing.
