Stanstead Journal - - NEWS - Special collaboration Townshippers' Association

Grieving for a loved one is never easy, but celebrating the holidays in their absence can be even more difficult. In support of those in the Brome-Missisquoi region who are still coming to terms with the loss of several community members this year, a free introductory information session on grief and grieving will be held at the community center in Knowlton on Monday, December 17, 2012, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Following a short DVD presentation, community organizations, spiritual leaders and mental health workers from the CLSC will provide information about the services offered in Brome-Missisquoi. There will also be an opportunity to speak with the group which most meets your needs. The evening will conclude with a candlelight vigil, which has been organized by young adults of the community in memory of those that are no longer with us.

The Knowlton community center is located at 270 Victoria Street in Lac-Brome.
