Students learn pleasure of giving

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

The sixth grade class of teachers Isabelle Arguin and Manon Drouin, at Jardin-des Frontieres school, have a lot to be proud of: they organized a huge collection of canned goods for the CAB RH Rediker’s Christmas Basket program. Turning it into a contest of who could collect the most number of non-perishable food items, between the boys and the girls in the class, made the whole exercise more fun and very successful. The girls won, collecting a total of 192 items, while the boys collected an equally impressive 157 items. Going a step further, the class also bought about thirty gifts for less fortunate children in the community, and wrapped them.
