Science for kids
This winter, the Sherbrooke Nature and Science Museum is hosting a series of events with young science lovers in mind. La Magie de la chimie, on January 19th, will feature explosions, fireballs, fascinating foam and giant bubbles. La chimie on en mange, on February 2nd, will have the visitors tasting ‘smoking punch’, liquid nitrogen ice cream, fish eggs and homemade spaghetti. On February 16th, children will learn how technology is inspired by the natural world with the conference Petites Bêtes Exotiques. The conferences all begin at 1:30 pm and there is a small charge for non-members. For more information visit the museum’s website.
