Idle No More Information Session
Knowledge Sharing and Teach-in
Join others in our community asking questions, sharing information, and building relationships. What does it mean to say that we are all, each of us living in Canada, treaty people in a long-term relationship defined by treaties as these are defined, signed, honoured, or not? What are the issues at stake? What is particular about this specific historic moment?
Learn about the Indian Act, the White Paper, federal policies, Aboriginal treaty and individual rights, legislation identified by the Idle No More movement (Bill c-45, FIPA).
All are welcome - Light refreshments will be provided. Wednesday January 23, 2013 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Free Centennial Theatre Lobby, Bishop’s University 2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, Qc
