At Coaticook’s last council meeting, members adopted a policy to encourage construction. The construction of new condos and apartments will now be subsidized and the cost of permanent work during the construction of new residences will be subsidized at 25%.

The town has hired the engineering firm CIMA+ in relation to the construction of the Cutting reservoir for an amount of $413, 910. The work will be done in 2013 to proceed with the reconstruction of the reservoir as well as the construction of a service building for equipment. The work to be done to the reservoir responds to the new norms of the Reglement sur la qualité de l’eau potable (RQEP).
