Valen­tines Cel­e­bra­tion at the Goodrich Me­mo­rial Li­brary

Valen­tine’s Day is here again. Time to bring your best gal, or guy, or a friend to the Goodrich Me­mo­rial Li­brary for an evening of toe tap­ping mu­sic and fun with the Friends and Drifters. Janet Lussier is the leader of this tal­ented group of neigh­bors who get to­gether ev­ery Fri­day evening to make mu­sic. They play an eclec­tic mix of coun­try, oldies and fa­mil­iar tunes, with new of­fer­ings added es­pe­cially for this event.

The Goodrich is only one of many com­mu­nity or­ga­ni­za­tions who ben­e­fit from the gen­eros­ity of th­ese fine mu­si­cians. Cur­rently the group con­sists of Brian Chap­man, Stan Cota, Rick Barnard, Court­ney Meade, Roger Pi­ette, Rick Sar­gent, Mar­cel May­hew, Larry Broe, Doug Cota, Howard Cota. Glo­ria Wil­lis, and Janet Lussier.

So, come to the Goodrich Me­mo­rial Li­brary on Fri­day, Fe­bru­ary 15 at 7PM to en­joy tunes and chat­ter from the Friends and Drifters, a sur­prise door prize, home­made good­ies and a sou­venir photo to com­mem­o­rate the evening, all in a de­light­ful set­ting.

Seat­ing in our café style venue is lim­ited. Tick­ets are $3.00 each or 2/$5.00 and are avail­able at the li­brary. Get yours be­fore they are all sold out.

The li­brary is hand­i­capped ac­ces­si­ble.
