LastWed­nes­day, thirty-five Bishop’s Univer­sity stu­dents study­ing in busi­ness ad­min­is­tra­tion were re­ceived by the Coat­i­cook re­gion SADC for a tour of two lo­cal en­ter­prises: the and The visit was con­ducted in both French and English to send a clear mes­sage to the fu­ture grad­u­ates that it is pos­si­ble to pur­sue ca­reers in their cho­sen field in the re­gion, in both of­fi­cial lan­guages. The visit was or­ga­nized in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Dob­son-Lagasse En­tre­pre­neur­ial Cen­tre.

Dur­ing a lun­cheon be­tween the two tours, the stu­dents had the op­por­tu­nity to ask ques­tions about the busi­nesses, watched a video of the Coat­i­cook MRC, were spo­ken to by Coat­i­cook mayor, Ber­trand Lamoureux, SADC pres­i­dent, Serge Gos­selin, SADC di­rec­tor, Joanne Beaudin, and David Monty of the Dob­son-Lagasse En­tre­pre­neur­ial Cen­tre.
