“Alex is a quiet and humble student-athlete. He loves the game and has worked very hard this season finding more confidence than ever before. He’s a big body that passes the puck hard, plays with an edge and possesses an excellent shot from the point,” commented Spartan coach James Rioux.
He is also currently ranked 91st by NHL Central Scouting for the 2013 NHL Draft in June.
In selecting UVM, Alex felt that the location, coaching staff and academic opportunities were factors in making his decision. He loves the city of Burlington and is truly excited to be joining the Catamount family.
