Eastern Townships Canadian Club Features a Financial Discussion
Wed., March 13th at noon, the Eastern Townships Canadian Club will feature Dian Cohen who will have a financial discussion with her audience. Dian Cohen has worked for more than 40 years in multimedia production, with numerous radio, television, video and print productions to her credit, enlightening Canadians by demystifying the workings of the business world and the economy. She has acted as an advisor to, director of, or chair of several Canadian and international organizations and corporations. In 2000 Dian was listed at the National Post’s Power 50 Women in Canada, recognizing her as an influential woman in her field with the ability to influence people and events.
Recently, Dian oversaw the substantial growth of the Sherbrooke and District University Women’s Scholarship Foundation (now Lampe Foundation). In 2009, she was elected director and governor of the Fondation Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke and was awarded the designation of Grande Ambassadeur for her fundraising efforts.
Dian’s topic is You Can’t be a Beacon if Your Light Don’t Shine which will give you tips for financial security. Everyone can use some retirement, tax and/or estate planning advice so come prepared to ask the questions you want answered.
