Tourism prizes announced
Thisyear’s recipients of the Grands Prix du Tourisme Desjardins were announced last week and the prizes awarded last Thursday evening at a gala held at Sherbrooke.
“Tourism personality of the Cantons-de-l’Est” Crawford, the president of Domaine Pinnacle, an ice cider and specialized alcoholic beverage producer in Frelighsburg. “The Townships are truly unique – it is a region that can be appreciated by all Quebecers and our visitors who come from everywhere in the world.
Domaine Pinnacle is proud to be part of a community of individuals and organizations who work hard to make the Townships one of the most esteemed tour America,” commented Mr. Crawford at the event.

Val-Estrie, in Waterville, received the grand prize

Restaurant, in Compton, took the prize for Regional Table – Flavour Creators.
