TheStanstead Entertainment Centre finished up its children’s bowling program with its annual drawing of a new bike for one lucky bowler. The program is called “Strike for a bike”, and every time one of the young bowlers gets a strike during the six month long program that has the children bowling every Saturday morning, their name is put into a hat. This year’s bike winner was Dylan Sisco while the winners of the main trophies were Riley Larocque, for most improved, and Remi Galvin for player of the year. All of the other participants were given small trophies for them to take home.

“We drew the name last week and then we bought the bike, to make sure we got the right size for the winner. Doreen Flanders did a great job coaching and I look forward to next year’s program in September,” said Angela Leith, the manager of the bowling alley.
