Fas­ci­nat­ing ob­jects on new web­site

Last week, the Que­bec An­glo­phone Her­itage Net­work (QAHN) launched a new web­site fea­tur­ing the pho­tos and sto­ries of one hun­dred ob­jects that rep­re­sent Que­bec’s English speak­ing com­mu­ni­ties. A cop­per an­ode from Abitibi-Témis­cam­ing tells the story of min­ing in Que­bec’s north, and the role that English speak­ers played in it. That’s ob­ject num­ber 29 in the 100 Ob­jects project (100ob­jects.qahn.org) of the Que­bec An­glo­phone Her­itage Net­work.
