Fascinating objects on new website
Last week, the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN) launched a new website featuring the photos and stories of one hundred objects that represent Quebec’s English speaking communities. Here are a few more photographs of objects from the website which is definitely worth a visit! see more p.6
A copper anode from Abitibi-Témiscaming tells the story of mining in Quebec’s north, and the role that English speakers played in it. That’s object number 29 in the 100 Objects project (100objects.qahn.org) of the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network.
The Westmount Historical Society submitted these three handsome lawn bowling balls to the 100 Objects project of the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network. Their centuryold story is told at 100objects.qahn.org.
