Ayer's Cliff gets its Board­walk

The Mem­phrem­a­gog MRC has an­nounced the nine projects that will re­ceive a to­tal in fund­ing of $390,596, and in­cluded in those projects is a grant of $100,000 for the mu­nic­i­pal­ity of Ayer’s Cliff to go to­wards the con­struc­tion of a board­walk and pavil­ion on the shores of Lake Mas­saw­ippi.

Other or­ga­ni­za­tions re­ceiv­ing fund­ing are the mu­nic­i­pal­ity of Hat­ley which will re­ceive $100,000 for the re­pair and con­ver­sion of St. James Hall into a com­mu­nity cen­tre; Pot­ton gets $3,696 to de­velop a lead­er­ship pro­gram; the CLD Mem­phrem­a­gog will get $10,000 to hire a devel­op­ment re­source for Stanstead, Stanstead Town­ship and Og­den; the Co­op­er­a­tive sol­i­darite Austin gets $50,000 to study the devel­op­ment of a fiber op­tic net­work; the Co­op­er­a­tive de sol­i­darite des Pe­tits Zi­boux gets $22,300 to de­velop a co­op­er­a­tive day care ser­vice; the Ile du Marais gets $30,000 to re­pair its trails at the marsh in Kat­e­vale; Ste Eti­enne de Bolton gets $15,000 to build a multi-func­tional plat­form in the park; and Ste. Cather­ine de Hat­ley gets $59,600 for a multi-func­tional plat­form in the park and sports equip­ment.
