Dixville Home cel­e­brates 55th year

On Sun­day April 7, 2013 at St. Paul’s Chapel in Dixville, Que­bec, a group of 18 peo­ple gath­ered to cel­e­brate the Lord’s Day and the 55th an­niver­sary of the found­ing of Dixville Home. The ser­vice of prayers and songs was led by the Rev. Bar­bara Win­tle, ac­com­pa­nied by or­gan­ist June Pat­ter­son. The gath­er­ing in­cluded Ger­ritt van der Mark, co-founder of Dixville Home, res­i­dents and care-givers, and sev­eral re­tired staff and friends. The en­joy­able half-hour be­gan and ended with Ger­ritt ring­ing the chapel bell. Happy An­niver­sary Dixville Home!
