DREAMLAND: A concert Presented by Students of Champlain Music Classes
Champlain College Lennoxville presents the bi-annual music show at Bandeen Hall on the campus of Bishop’s University from Thursday through Saturday, April 25 to 27 at 7:00 p.m. “DREAMLAND” will be performed by students studying in various CEGEP programs at Champlain Lennoxville who are currently enrolled in one of the College’s music-performance classes. The concert will feature primarily popular music from as early as the 1950’s to the present day (from the Everly Brothers to Mumford and Sons) on the theme of “Dreams.”
Students have received extensive training from music professor, Yotam Baum, who has composed original arrangements for the concert and is also the director. All students sing in the large choral ensemble regardless of previous musical experience, and many perform vocal solos and/or play in the rock band.
Champlain concerts are always upbeat and uplifting, and they showcase some of our region’s best young musical talents.
Tickets are on sale at the Student Union Building, office 121, on the Bishop’s University campus, and at the door 30 minutes prior to each show ($5 students; $10 adults). For additional information or for group reservations, please contact Yotam Baum at firstname.lastname@example.org or (819) 564-3666 ext. 248.
