Cemetery – Hatley Benefit
The 1st in a series of three card parties was held in the dining hall of the Ayer’s Cliff Fair Grounds, on May 11th. These are benefit the St. James’ Cemetery - Hatley. Cards were played at 7 tables. Scores were added up with Barbara Gosselin (5020) winning ladies high. Ladies 2nd went to Meryl Nutbrown (4840). Gents high went to George Peasley (6420) and Archie St-Onge (5900) claiming the gents 2nd. Skunk prize went to Marsha Wallis. The 9 of clubs bid went to Bob Nish. Door prizes went the following: Jaen Martin, Elvera Patterson, Bev Haefeli, Greta Nish, Debbie Smith, Royce Wallace, Jack Kimpton, Denis Corriveau, Marsha Wallis, Jack Haefeli, Mead Baldwin, Alan Bullock, Bob Nish, Helena McComb Harris Olsson, Louise Peasley, and Marion Cox. Special prizes went to Archie St-Onge, Elvera Patterson, Debbie Smith, Denis Corriveau, Marion Cox, Barbara Wing, Jean Martin, Joanne Bowen, Alan Bullock, Bud Wing, Marian St.Onge, and Mead Baldwin. On behalf of the Cemetery group, we would like to thank everyone for coming.
