Bor­ough Of Len­noxville Com­mem­o­ra­tion Of The Nor­mandy Land­ings

Sher­brooke’s Bor­ough of Len­noxville in­vites the pub­lic to join in a cer­e­mony on June 2 com­mem­o­rat­ing the an­niver­sary of the Nor­mandy land­ings, in which 5500 Cana­di­ans—men and women—sac­ri­ficed their lives.

Or­ga­nized by Army, Navy & Air Force Vet­er­ans in Canada Unit 318 of Len­noxville, the assem­bly will take place in Civic Park, next to the Len­noxville bor­ough of­fice at 150 Queen Street. The cer­e­mony will be­gin at about noon.

Please note that Sa­muel-Gratham Street will be closed to traf­fic that day be­tween noon and 1:30 p.m., for the pa­rade at ap­prox­i­mately 12:15 p.m.

The Bor­ough of Len­noxville hopes many Sher­brooke res­i­dents will join in this com­mem­o­ra­tion.
