Caisse rewards young savers

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

This year, the Caisse Desjardins du Lac-Memphremagog offered the Caisse Scolaire in ten elementary schools while the Caisse Desjardins du Stanstead, now merged with the former branch, offered it in the two Stanstead elementary schools. After 100 years, this service continues to grow with more weekly deposits and more students.

On June 20th, almost 700 student members who had made at least 7 deposits during the year, regardless of the amount of the deposit because it is the habit of depositing regularly that the Caisse wants to encourage, received a ‘return’ of $10 each. Several gifts were also drawn and presented to student savers in each of the participating schools

Julie Dubois, director of Jardin-des-Frontières, and Karine Lacasse, of the Caisse scolaire Desjardins, pose with the students who won the drawings for gifts from the financial institution.
