RPM organizes first Blood Drive
The Regie de police Memphremagog (RPM) will be holding its first Blood Drive on Friday, June 28th, under the honorary presidency of Romain Mercier, a five year-old who has received more than sixty blood transfusions to date. In collaboration with the
Association des policiers et policieres de Memphremagog and the blood drive volunteers, this clinic will take place in the basement of the St. Jean Bosco Church, on Sherbrooke Street in Magog, between 10:30 am and 8:00 pm.
“As police officers, our first mission is to protect and save lives and a blood drive is a concrete way to do this. It’s for this reason that the RPM supports Hema-Quebec in its mission. The objective is 180 donors and everyone is welcome!” commented Officer Paul Tear of the RPM.
