We Dig Reading!
Readersof all ages will “Dig Into READING” this summer as the Haskell Free Library presents its annual summer reading program. This year’s theme explores things underground. Activities will include programs on fairies, gardening, cave art, dinosaurs, animals that burrow and other kinds of diggers. Each Wednesday afternoon in July at 2:00 p.m., children who have completed Kindergarten through grade six are invited for reading and craft activities. Thursday mornings at 9:45 a.m. is a special story time just for preschoolers and their caregivers. Friday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. will be a special “Crafternoon” with Sarah.
The 2013 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prize drawings, story hour, a reading club and more. Families with pre-readers are invited to join the Read-toMe portion of the program. Registration for “Dig Into READING!” begins immediately. For more information, call the library at (819) 876-2471 or (802) 876-2471. Follow the Haskell Free Library on Facebook for program updates.
All library programs are free of charge.
