Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

Renowned puppeteer/performance artist/political satirist Paul Zaloom presents his solo comic hand puppet extravaganza, “The Punch and Jimmy Show.”

The spectacle features hand puppets in the wild and ribald tradition of the 450 year-old Punch and Judy show, updated to fit the new dynamic of our magnificent civilization. The incorrigible cad Punch, now gay and living with his boyfriend Jimmy and adopted baby Precious, deals with love, murder, law enforcement, religion, and of course, death. Will he pay the consequences of his crimes?

Paul Zaloom performs Sunday, August 18th at 5:30 p.m. in the Paper-Mache Cathedral at Bread and Puppet Theater. The theater can be found on Route 122 near Glover. This event directly follows the TOTAL THIS&THAT CIRCUS, which begins at 2 pm, preceded by a museum tour at 1 pm.
