Stanstead Journal - - NEWS - Sherbrooke, Lennoxville

Thereis still time to register for the Fall 2013 recreation and aquatics programs at Bishop’s University but hurry as classes are filling up fast. The Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to once again offer a full slate of programs for newborns to centenarians and everyone in between.

Changes are in the air this fall as new Recreation Coordinator Stephen Jalbert brings over 20 years of experience to the position. He has put together a session with many new class offerings and expanded on some old favourites. Some of the new programs include activities for new mothers and their children, package deals to save money and popular new activities like aqua zumba and new yoga styles.

Many old favourites are back such as children’s karate, gymnastics and small ball. For the adults, aqua-jogging and aqua-fitness return as well as pilates, yoga and boot camp. Bishop’s will also once again be offering the swim zoo and Red Cross swimming lessons for children.
