Chris­tian rocker com­ing to Hope Com­mu­nity Church

TimNeufeld, the lead singer of the Chris­tian band Starfield, will be com­ing to Len­noxville to per­form a free con­cert at Hope Com­mu­nity Church, 102 Queen Street. The onenight per­for­mance will take place on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 3rd, at 7:00 pm. Hail­ing all the way from Win­nipeg, Man­i­toba, Mr. Neufeld will per­form with spe­cial guests the Hal­lelu­jah Glory Boys.

His band, Starfield, has re­ceived sev­eral awards in­clud­ing the Prairie Mu­sic Award for best Chris­tian al­bum, along with four Juno nom­i­na­tions. Their songs have charted in Canada, the United States and the United King­dom.

Dur­ing Cul­ture Days, held across the prov­ince from Septem­ber 27th to the 29th, two free ac­tiv­i­ties will be of­fered at the Mu­seum along with con­fer­ences, fam­ily ac­tiv­i­ties and sci­en­tific out­ings.

Chil­dren over seven years of age will en­joy three free youth ac­tiv­i­ties. In­ter­ac­tive demon­stra­tions on the chem­istry of ma­te­ri­als, the mag­netic levitation of ob­jects and a world tour to dis­cover mam­mals is all on the menu.

Many French-lan­guage con­fer­ences open to ev­ery­one will be of­fered in the evenings, with themes as var­ied as the race to the moon, light pol­lu­tion or the vol­ca­noes of south­ern Que­bec. Fi­nally, the

ex­hi­bi­tion and the mul­ti­me­dia and mul­ti­sen­sory show is still on the pro­gram.

The Mu­seum is open from Wed­nes­day to Sun­day, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
