Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

ThePair Program, a free, automated telephone system that phones vulnerable people such as seniors, people with handicaps or chronic illness, who live alone, helped to save an 88 year-old woman on Sunday morning. After the program called her residence three times and didn’t get a response, the police called her daughter who rushed to her home and found her on the floor, unable to get up. She was taken to the hospital. People who live in the Memphremagog MRC and who are interested in receiving more information about this program or receive this free service can call officer Paul Tear of the RPM at 819 843-3334, extension 247.
