Hats Off to the LDWC and its Members! Annual Open House Celebration
T and District Women’s Centre opens its doors to all women in the community on Thursday October 10th, between 4pm and 7pm, during its annual Open House Celebration. As a non-profit organization serving Englishspeaking women throughout region, the LDWC is dedicated to helping women develop their full potential. By offering an ongoing program of social and educational activities, the LDWC encourages women to participate in their community. The Open House is a perfect opportunity for women of all ages to come together to meet like-minded ladies and to reconnect with old friends.
This year, the evening will have a theme of “Hats” so please come adorned in head gear! Wear a hat, a crown, a head-dress… be creative! Professional Costume designer Nicole hand to help you decorate your hats if you choose to embellish them. She will also be teaching guests to make their very own Fascinator so be sure to bring a head band (and a sculptural piece of interest if you have - ture hat, giant flower or bird etc.). It promises to be an evening of fun and laughter during which there will be refreshments, games and door prizes offered, so be sure to drop by! The celebration will begin at 4pm at the Marguerite Knapp Building : 257 Queen St., Borough of Lennoxville.
