The Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund was established in 2006 with the philosophy of Neil Tillotson in mind: Be humble, be creative and be kind. The fund is guided by an 11-member advisory committee and the following goals: Strengthen existing institutions; address gaps in services to meet community needs; support new and emerging leaders; shape public policy; preserve natural, cultural and social assets; and leverage public and private funding.
The Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund accepts proposals from eligible organizations providing services in Colebrook, Pittsburg, Clarksville, Stewartstown, Dixville and other towns in Coos County as well as bordering communities in Quebec, Canada and the U.S. The fund is also interested in applicants that serve these communities as part of a larger regional effort.
