Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

Free Hero in Thirty training (CPR) will be given this Saturday, November 2nd, in the central mall of the Carrefour de

l’Estrie from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. During the training, people will learn how to give mouth-free cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with the help of an external automated defibrillator, all in less than 30 minutes. This training teaches a simplified yet effective form of CPR which uses only cardiac massage, without the mouth-to-mouth ventilation. By using the technique learnt at the Hero

in Thirty training sessions, anyone can save the life of a loved one or a stranger, becoming a hero for life! Also on site will be an ambulance, a mini ambulance for trails, information kiosks about CPR, a military ambulance and more.

The event officially launches the beginning of “CPR month”.
