Last week, on the ter­ri­tory of the Regie de po­lice Mem­phrem­a­gog (RPM), a car ran off the Ge­orgeville Road at 11:00 am on the 22nd, hit­ting a mailbox. The man re­ceived mi­nor in­juries and the cause of the ac­ci­dent is un­known. A 63 year-old man was ar­rested for driv­ing with more than 80 mg. of al­co­hol in his blood, on Merry North at around 2:00 pm. His li­cense was sus­pended for ninety days.

On Oc­to­ber 23rd, in the af­ter­noon, a per­son sus­pected of steal­ing from cars was ar­rested and ques­tioned by de­tec­tives. The thefts took place be­tween July and Oc­to­ber all around the RPM ter­ri­tory. The 21 yearold sus­pect who was work­ing alone and mainly look­ing for money ad­mit­ted to 33 of about 40 thefts. The in­di­vid­ual had no prior records but was kept by the po­lice to ap­pear in court the fol­low­ing morn­ing.
