New organizers at North Hatley Christmas Market

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

The North Hatley Christmas Market will take place as usual, this November, although with two new organizers: Danielle Caron and Mary Rolland. The two new organizers are taking over the reins from Way’s Mills artist Debbie Everett, who organized the sale for over ten years along with Jean Paré.

“We’ll have about twenty artisans each day of the sale, some returning and some new ones. The rule is that everything is hand-made, except for some specialty olive oil that a vendor is bringing,” explained Mary Rolland, known for her handmade basketwork. The sale will take place over two days, on November 16th and the 23rd. “There will be twenty-two vendors on the 16th, and on the 23rd we’ll have eleven new vendors among the twenty-two,” added Ms. Rolland.
