Colby-Curtis holds “Super” sale

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

Perhaps people are starting to see some of the benefits of shopping locally because the Colby-Curtis Museum’s annual Christmas Boutique Sale, held last Saturday, was the Museum’s most successful sale to date. “In one word, it was super!” said a happy Irene Poulin, a volunteer with the Museum who organizes the sale every year. “Our sales were twice as high as our best sale of previous years.” There were also a lot of new faces at the sale, something that bodes well not only for the boutique but the Museum as well. “We hope that people realize they can come to the boutique not only at Christmas time for nice gifts,” added Mrs. Poulin.
