About 45 of the CAB RH Rediker’s 150 volunteers attended the annual Christmas luncheon for volunteers, last Friday. “Volunteers Day is held on December 5th every year, and we always hold our luncheon on the Friday of that week. It’s an opportunity for us to say ‘Thank you’ to our volunteers and a chance for them to meet each other,” said the CAB’s director, Mylene LaBonté. “We had some of our volunteers not just from Stanstead at the luncheon, but from Ogden and Ayer’s Cliff, too,” she added.

Besides the great food cooked up by the CAB’s cooking staff who get a lot of practise now supplying meals

to the ever-growing Meals on Wheels program five days a week, there was live music with Lise Flanders (who may have been cloned because she seems to be performing everywhere these days), games and prizes.

The CAB RH Rediker is always in need of volunteers for many different tasks and activities. Some people volunteer once a year, once a month, or once a week. The hours are very flexible so why not give it a try?
