College Servite to host international students this summer

Stanstead Journal - - FORUM - Victoria Vanier

The College Servite, the private high school located in Ayer’s Cliff, will be hosting students from across Canada, the United States and from France, from July 20th to the 29th, for the first edition of the International Servite Schools Network’s ISSN International Business Leadership Camp, an entrepreneurial and leadership training camp.

The Ayer’s Cliff school was chosen as the site for the camp by the executive council of the ISSN because of its geographic location which was central to the schools in the United States (California and Nebraska) and France (the Paris suburb of Villemomble).

The camp will take place in English and the students will be grouped in such a way that they must work with someone from all the nationalities present. The groups must develop business plans using what they learn about entrepreneurship, marketing and finance. The aim of the camp is to develop creativity in the students, their capacity to solve problems through teamwork, and their sense of business leadership on an international level.
